Directions to Westminster Presbyterian Church

2080 Boulevard, West Hartford 860-521-6240

(at the intersection of Ridgewood Road and the Boulevard)

From Interstate 84 (either direction)

Take Exit 43, Park Road. At the end of the exit, turn left (west) onto Park Road. Go through the first traffic light which only about a half a block and may be blinking yellow. At the second traffic light, turn right (north) onto South Main Street. At the first traffic light, turn left (west) onto Boulevard. The first traffic light on Boulevard will be at the intersection with Ridgewood Road – the church is on the northwest corner. To park in the church parking lot, turn right onto Ridgewood Road and the first driveway on your left will be into our parking lot. Or you can park on the north side of Boulevard – please do not park on the south side of Boulevard per our agreement with our neighbors.

From Farmington Avenue coming from the West

Come east past the reservoir and down a hill. At the traffic light at the bottom of the hill, continue straight on Farmington Avenue. On your right is a Stop & Shop supermarket. At the next traffic light, continue straight. Take your first right onto Ridgewood Road. The church will be on your right at the next corner, which is Boulevard. You will see the entrance to the church parking lot on your right before you see the church. Our parking lot entrance is just past a hedge row separating us from the last residence on the block. If you wish, you can continue to the traffic light and turn right onto Boulevard and park on the north side of Boulevard – please do not park on the south side of Boulevard per our agreement with our neighbors.

From Farmington Avenue coming from the East

Drive west on Farmington Avenue from West Hartford Center. Turn left (south) onto Ridgewood Road which is at the top of a small rise and is one block prior to the traffic light at Mountain Road, which is the first light after leaving the Center. The church will be on your right at the next corner, which is Boulevard. You will see the entrance to the church parking lot on your right before you see the church. Our parking lot entrance is just past a hedge row separating us from the last residence on the block. If you wish, you can continue to the traffic light and turn right onto Boulevard and park on the north side of Boulevard – please do not park on the south side of Boulevard per our agreement with our neighbors. If you miss Ridgewood Road, simply continue to Mountain Road traffic light and turn left (south) and in one block turn left (east) onto Boulevard. You are circling the church. Turn left onto Ridgewood Road at the first traffic light for the parking lot.

Entering the Church

From the parking lot, the sanctuary can be entered from the left sidewalk. The right hand sidewalk from the parking lot takes you into the office and function room areas of the church. The ramp from that right hand sidewalk takes you into the Fireside Circle room and the lower level of the building.

Handicapped Parking

There are marked handicapped parking spaces in the first row in the main parking lot. The handicapped entrance to the sanctuary and the main level of the building from the main parking lot is found by taking the left sidewalk along the south side of the sanctuary. The handicapped entrance to the Fireside Circle and the lower level of the building is from the right hand sidewalk via the handicapped ramp. There is also limited handicapped parking on the west end of the building reached by driving straight when entering the parking lot along the north side of the building. Entrance to the sanctuary and main level of the building from that parking area is through the double doors at the west end of the building.
